They massively vary, which is great because you can find a market to meet your budget and have fun betting on non-traditional results. Some of the most popular cricket betting markets include the number of centuries or half-centuries, top batsman or bowler, the number of wickets, runs, fours and sixes, the coin toss, how many boundaries and no-balls, and opening partnerships.

If you already know the difference between your spin ball and no ball, you’re in the right place for cricket spread betting. If you’re new to cricket betting, read through the key terms below to help understand the cricket betting odds on offer.
Coin Toss - This starts the game; whichever team wins the coin toss, chooses whether they bat or bowl first.
No-ball - An illegitimate bowl delivery from the bowler, i.e. the bowler has overstepped the front crease.
Wicket - AKA the stumps the bowler is aiming for and the batsman is protecting. If the ball knocks the bails off the top of the stumps, the batsman is out. There are many ways this can happen, such as via a legitimate bowl or if a fielder hits the stumps when the batsman is outside their crease.
LBW - This stands for ‘leg before wicket’. It’s when the batsman's leg blocks the ball from hitting the wicket in line with the stumps and potentially getting the batsman out.
Runs - These are the runs made by the two batters on the field as they run from one end of the cricket square to the other. Each run is given a score of 1, and ultimately, the team with the most runs wins the match.
Duck - Also known as a ‘blob’, this is when a batman makes no runs and has a score of zero.
Fours and Sixes - Fours are when the ball hits the floor but still reaches the boundary. A six is when the ball reaches the boundary without hitting the floor.
Centuries - A century is when a batsman has made a hundred runs within an innings. A half-century is when they’ve made 50 runs, and a batsman can earn both a half-century and a century in one innings.
